Kelvin Lomax (born 12 November 1986) is an English footballer. He currently plays as a defender for Barrow AFC.
Lomax started his career at Oldham Athletic and made 82 appearances for them. He has had loan spells at Rochdale in 2007, where he made 10 appearances,[1] and Chesterfield, who he signed for on an emergency loan in November 2010,[2] for whom he appeared five times before an injury meant his return to Oldham.[3]
In July 2010 he was transfer-listed by the club, along with five other first team players.[4] His contract was terminated by Oldham on 31 January 2011 and a day later he signed for Shrewsbury Town on a six month contract. He was released by the Shrews on 23rd May 2011, after one cameo appearance.
Kelvin signed for Barrow in the Summer of 2011, dropping down to the Blue Square Premier.
